Melbourne Children’s Psychology Clinic Hampton and Ivanhoe Joins Malu Health

We are delighted to welcome Melbourne Children’s Psychology Clinic (MCPC) - with clinics in Ivanhoe and Hampton - into the Malu Health network.

MCPC is a highly respected child and adolescent psychology practice, known for its commitment to clinical excellence, ethical care, and a genuinely supportive team culture. As part of Malu Health, MCPC will continue delivering the personalised care families know and trust - now backed by Malu’s national infrastructure, shared clinical resources, and a broader community of clinicians.

We’re proud to welcome Felicity, Georgina, and the entire MCPC team.

Felicity and Georgina (Founders and Directors of Melbourne Children’s Psychology Clinic):

“Our journey began eighteen years ago as two clinicians with a shared vision for what quality child & adolescent mental health care could look like… Together, we have worn every hat imaginable - from HR and administration to web developer and cleaner.

For years, we have managed dual full-time roles as clinical leaders and business operators. While effective, this balance has stretched our focus, prompting us to ask: How do we ensure this clinic thrives and remains sustainable well into the future?

That is why we are so excited to announce that Melbourne Children’s Psychology Clinic is joining forces with Malu Health. By joining Malu, we gain the back-end support and infrastructure that finally allows us to step away from the 24/7 demands of running the business… It means we can stop being ‘operators’ and get back to what matters most: high-quality clinical care, excellence in training and professional development, research, and innovation - all while continuing the culture that has always been the heart of MCPC.

For our families and our team, this means continuity: the same trusted clinicians and the same warm welcome at the front desk, now backed by a national network that provides greater stability and security for the future. We are no longer doing this alone. We are part of something bigger."

Joseph Healy (CEO, Malu Health):

"MCPC has built something exceptional - a practice grounded in ethical, high-quality care and a strong team culture. We’re thrilled to welcome their clinicians and families into Malu Health. This partnership strengthens our shared commitment to supporting the workforce and delivering excellent outcomes for children, adolescents, and families.”

Looking ahead

For families, very little will feel different. The same clinicians. The same familiar spaces. The same thoughtful approach to care.

What changes is what sits behind the scenes - stronger systems, shared expertise, and a broader community of clinicians working together across the country.

For Georgina and Felicity, this partnership simply means they are no longer carrying everything alone. It allows them to focus on the work that first drew them into the profession: supporting children, strengthening families, mentoring younger clinicians, and continuing to build something meaningful for the next generation.

We are excited about what this next chapter will bring - not because things are changing, but because the foundations are now stronger than ever.

Welcome to Malu Health, MCPC.
